Luke Barnes
Luke Barnes serves as Operations Manager for the Cybersecurity Manufacturing Innovation Institute (CyManII), where he provides staff oversight, leadership support, and operations management to effectively execute project management, operations, and compliance functions. In this role, he ensures that all phases of the Institute have appropriate personnel, operational controls, administrative, and compliance reporting procedures in place.
Before joining CyManII, Barnes served more than seven years in the United States Air Force as a cyberspace operations officer, where he led teams and managed enterprise IT operations in both stateside and deployed environments. His work supported Air Force training operations, U.S. Special Operations, the U.S. intelligence community, and federal law enforcement agencies. He brings a people-focused approach to operational leadership, with an emphasis on building strong teams, fostering collaboration, and creating processes that help people do their best work.
