John Touron
John Touron is a Senior Software Engineer at CyManII, where he develops cybersecurity solutions that protect the operational technology powering American manufacturing. His recent work includes designing blockchain-based manufacturing security prototypes using Hyperledger Fabric, Python, and Go, as well as building containerized deployments that enable partners to implement, test, and evaluate secure manufacturing solutions.
Before joining CyManII, Touron served as a signals intelligence analyst in the U.S. Army, with assignments in Hawaii and Texas. He went on to spend more than a decade as a software engineer with the Department of Defense, where he worked across a range of cybersecurity initiatives, managed product life cycles, and led agile development teams. He later transitioned to the private sector, contributing to cybersecurity product development with a focus on reverse engineering, low-level systems programming, and tools for binary data analysis.
Touron holds a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science from Hawaii Pacific University and is completing a Master of Science in Computer Science at UT San Antonio. His technical expertise spans C, C++, Python, and Go, and he is passionate about mentoring junior developers and fostering the next generation of cybersecurity professionals.
