Anabel Toribio

Anabel Toribio is an Instructional Designer at CyManII, where she leads the design and continuous improvement of cybersecurity workforce education programs that advance workforce development and cyber resilience across the manufacturing sector. She partners with subject matter experts, researchers, and industry stakeholders to transform complex technical concepts into engaging, evidence-based learning experiences that support workforce upskilling across advanced manufacturing and critical infrastructure. Her work integrates instructional design, user experience (UX), accessibility, learning analytics, and emerging AI technologies to create learner-centered solutions that help organizations build stronger cybersecurity capabilities and resilience.

Before joining CyManII, Anabel’s career included education, visual design, and user experience. Those experiences shaped the way she approaches instructional design today—combining creativity, research, and practical problem-solving to help learners gain confidence and apply new skills on the job.

Anabel holds a Master of Fine Arts from The University of Texas at San Antonio, a Bachelor of Fine Arts from Baylor University, and a UX/UI Certificate from UTSA. Her educational background also includes graduate studies in Educational Leadership at Trinity University. Outside of her professional work, Anabel is also a figurative painter whose artistic practice continues to inform her perspective on design, creativity, and visual storytelling.
