UTSA Cyber Range Powered by CyManII

The UTSA Cyber Range powered by CyManII is a state-of-the-art classroom and learning lab designed for hybrid learning. With 24 dual workstations located at UTSA in the School of Data Science Center, the Cyber Range offers learners and an environment that uses simulated digital networks to show learners how to detect, identify, and mitigate cyber-attacks through realistic business-oriented scenarios. A series of training programs are available to upskill students and manufacturer professionals in cybersecurity awareness.

Team Training

Manufacturers have the opportunity to enhance their cybersecurity preparedness by immersing teams in realistic cyberattack simulations. With scenarios customizable by difficulty level, the Cyber Range provides the closest experience to real-world incidents, maximizing technical and mental readiness. Whether in-person or remote via Zoom, teams learn how to defend a replica of a corporate-grade network using industry-standard security tools like Palo Alto Firewalls, Q-Radar, and Splunk.

Individual On-Demand Training

Individuals in any role and experience level can learn at their own pace, accessing a large catalog of labs and training that align to specialty areas like NICE job roles and DoD job codes focused on cybersecurity. Labs are on-demand and offered 24/7 based on specialty areas and business applications and tools. From the basics of network protocols to advanced threat hunting techniques, cyber labs gives individuals the tools to be prepared for real-world incidents.
