SUMMARY:DRIVE Program Employment Fast Track
DESCRIPTION:The DRIVE Program will host our next Employment Fast Track at the PRC (Chief’s Room) at JBSA-Lackland AFB. This Employment Fast Track will take place in two segments: A morning segment and an afternoon segment. \nMorning segment (9:30 a.m. – 11:30 a.m.): Segment includes a 20-minute “Intro to Networking” panel. This panel will give our participants the opportunity to learn about the importance of networking and allow them to feel more comfortable and confident in connecting with the resources and subject matter experts available to them. \nAfternoon segment (1:30 p.m. – 3:00 p.m.): Segment will focus on Direct Hiring Authority priority placements\, Palace Acquire\, and NAF via DRIVE.  This gives the hiring manager/ recruiter the opportunity to speak to participants about your organization and to provide an overview of the types of employment opportunities\, duties\, benefits\, and desired qualifications.  You will also have the opportunity and designated space to conduct 1:1 interviews with candidates who’ve applied for federal opportunity via AFPC’s HireVue application portal. \nIf you know of any other Direct Hiring Authority agencies with open positions and who would like to participate\, please encourage them to connect with our team by sending us an email to 737.tf.drive@us.af.mil \nNote: The population we will be jointly servicing include 737 TRSS Graduated Airmen\, Guardians and Trainees\, BMT Tech Students in transition\, and U.S. Army MedCoE students in transition and U.S. Navy Sailors in transition. \nWe encourage you to bring your swag and any marketing materials relevant your programs for dissemination (unfortunately\, lanyards are discouraged). As a friendly reminder\, photos are authorized of the Airman\, Guardians\, and Soldiers\, however\, photos taken of trainees is unauthorized.
